Most beginner chord problems come from setup, not force. Clean the shape first, then test it in time.

Try this

C

Play each string of C one at a time. Move one finger closer to the fret if a string buzzes.

1C

Change one finger at a time.

Keep the shape close to the fret

A finger near the fret rings easier than a finger in the middle of the space. Press only as hard as you need.

Apply it

C → G

Switch between C and G without strumming. Keep your fingers low and look for the smallest move.

2G

Variation

G → D → Em → C

Strum once per chord and count out loud. Keep going, even if one chord is not clean yet.

Steady time shows whether the shape really holds.

If one string sounds wrong, fix the shape. If the beat breaks, fix the timing.
